Nicolas Thomas
Nicolas Thomas is one of the firm’s founding partners, specializing in corporate law and litigation.
After several years of practicing law in international and French law firms, Nicolas Thomas advise advises French and international companies on their mergers and acquisitions and on any disputes that may arise in the course of such transactions.
Nicolas Thomas has developed in-depth experience in corruption prevention, internal investigations and related issues in the context of both the new French regulatory environment (Sapin II law, duty of vigilance, LCB-FT, regulations on interest representatives and beneficial owners, etc.) and foreign regulations on corruption prevention. He assists his clients in the implementation of compliance measures and assists them at all stages of proceedings before French or foreign judicial or administrative authorities.
Nicolas Thomas also specialises in emergency criminal defense. He has been on the Paris Bar’s list of court-appointed lawyers for several years, and regularly assists clients before the public prosecutor’s office and the investigating and trial courts.
Thomas Truchet
Thomas Truchet is one of the firm’s founding partners, specializing in business law, public and regulatory law and in litigation.
Thomas Truchet has developed in-depth expertise in public law and regulatory law. He advises the public sector and private companies on their relations and disputes with government departments, local authorities and public companies.
Thomas Truchet also advises on mergers and acquisitions and assists in the drafting, review and negotiation of the contractual documentation. Given his expertise in public law, he can also advise clients on the regulatory constraints applicable to capital transactions (regulatory, foreign investment control).
Finally, Thomas Truchet represents and advises his clients in all litigation before the administrative or judicial courts on strategic or high-stakes issues.
